With the induction of the two 777-240LRs the total 777 fleet in PIA will rise to five aircraft.
With these five aircraft PIA should plan to convert its entire North American network to the 777 fleet, withdrawing the aging 747-300 and 747-240Ms for the shorter UK, Saudi Arabia and domestic routes.
The five aircraft could easily cover the following schedules.
2 weekly Karachi-Manchaster-New York
2 weekly Lahore-Manchaster-New York
2 weekly Islamabad-Manchaster-New York
1 weekly Karachi-Manchaster-Chicago
1 weekly Lahore-Manchaster-Chicago
1 weekly Karachi-Manchaster-Houston
1 weekly Lahore-Manchaster-Houston
1 weekly Karachi-Manchaster-Los Angeles
1 weekly Lahore-Manchaster-Los Angeles
1 weekly Karachi-Toronto
1 weekly Lahore-Toronto
1 weekly Islamabad-Toronto
Five aircraft can easily cover the 15 weekly flights.
As I have always said, orginate the flights from each of the three hubs, and not start them from Karachi, saving thousands of flying hours per year.
Maybe with a larger fleet PIA can base a part of the 777 fleet in Islamabad and Lahore.
And when an aircraft needs to go for maintainance to Karachi, it can be sent as a domestic flight, and come back to the northern hub as a domestic flight aswell.

But in my opinion best option is to utilize all 5 aircraft as follows.
2 LR will fly to New York daily from Karachi.
4 Flight originate from LHE and then LHE-KHI-JFK
3 Flight originate from ISB and then ISB-KHI-JFK
One 777 will be utilized Purely on Toronto Sector and make three Flights in Six days (One day in hand)
Other will fly to three flights from DXB to ORD Flight would be
LHE-DXB-ORD
KHI-DXB-ORD
ISB-DXB-ORD
(One day in hand)
last will fly to two flights from DXB to IAH Flight would be
LHE-DXB-MAN-IAH
KHI-DXB-MAN-IAH
(3 day in hand)
Now 3+1 gives 4 days which could be best utilize again as follows
KHI-SVG-LAX
ISB-SVG-LAX
one day of any tripple seven still left could be use LHE-DXB-GLA sector
2 LR will fly to New York daily from Karachi.
4 Flight originate from LHE and then LHE-KHI-JFK
3 Flight originate from ISB and then ISB-KHI-JFK

It's ManchEster not ManchAster.
Lahore is not quite the same if spelt Latore ???
Also, I thought the idea of the LR was for nonstop flights, so why stop in MAN ??
As I previously said, it will be Dubai where the aircrafts stop due to crew operating hours.
You heard it here first.

Houston should just go off PK's route map.Amaad Lone wrote: 1 weekly Karachi-Manchaster-Houston

I agree with Amaad, 2 separate flights from the three cities.ammad wrote:4 Flight originate from LHE and then LHE-KHI-JFK

PK's B772ER do not have the range to fly DXB-ORD without payload restrictions. PK flys to ORD 1 weekly off peak, 2 weekly otherwise. It would be better to code-share and utilise the aircraft in more profitable destinations.ammad wrote: LHE-DXB-ORD

I would make Toronto:
KHI-LHE-YYZ 2x weekly
KHI-ISB-YYZ 1x weekly
KHI flight still gets you to YYZ faster than the competition.
For New York:
For the time being they can do:
Karachi-Manchaster-New York 2 weekly
Lahore-Manchaster-New York 2 weekly
Islamabad-Manchaster-New York 2 weekly
If they get rights to fly nonstop PAK-NYC, then:
KHI-LHE-JFK 2x weekly
KHI-ISB-JFK 1x weekly
KHI-MAN-JFK 2x weekly
LHE-ISB-MAN-JFK 2x weekly
It has been said on this forum before that PIA want additional 777s.
Well, if they get one more 777LR, then they can eventually make ORD nonstop. I would take IAH off the route system, increase ORD to 3x weekly and codeshare with AA on ORD-IAH sector.
KHI-LHE-ORD 2x weekly
KHI-ISB-ORD 1x weekly
For Los Angeles:
I would go trans-Pacific, as there is better scope for 5th freedom traffic on the PVG-LAX sector, rather than MAN-LAX.
PVG-LAX will also generate very high cargo yields.
They should do:
KHI-PVG-LAX 2x weekly
ISB-LHE-PVG-LAX 2x weekly
KHI-LHE-YYZ 2x weekly
KHI-ISB-YYZ 1x weekly

Oh, o.k. will keep that in mind. Seriously, dude why would they buy 777LRs if they intend to stop in DXB on the way.pkjet wrote: As I previously said, it will be Dubai where the aircrafts stop due to crew operating hours.
