DUBAI, Nov 24 (APP): Pakistan has exhibited JF-17 Thunder fighter aircraft and a variety of electronic equipment as well as K-8 advanced jet trainer and super Mushshak trainer plane at an ongoing international air show here.
It is the third time Pakistan is participating in the famed annual Dubai air show, with the Kamra Aeronautical Complex of the Pakistan Air Force showcasing the country's progress in defence production.
The one-seat one-engine JF-17 fighter jet is a joint production of Pakistan and China and the technology used in it represents a qualitative leap, officials said.
Air Marshal Aurangzeb Khan, chairman of Kamra Aeronautical Complex, said that the fighter jet has advanced, economical and effective capabilities.
He expressed the confidence that participation in the international air show would definitely help promote the products of the Kamra complex.
The fair also "provides us an opportunity to look at new technology in the field of defense production," he added.
Air Chief Marshal Kaleem Saadat, chief of the Pakistan Air Force, also visited the Dubai air show and attended a conference of the Chiefs of Air Staff held on the occasion.
