Shameful how Sialkot Airport was able to arrange Rapid PCR testing within a few days and these incompetent jokers at CAA are screwing with everyone by saying it will take two weeks.

Delivery of orders for Rapid PCR Test equipment placed by Pakistani laboratories for installation at various airports of Pakistan would take at least 10-11 days, says Director General Pakistan CAA Khaqan Murtaza.

He said that around 90 per cent of the passengers from Karachi airport were going to Dubai as transit passengers, but the situation was worrisome at Peshawar and Islamabad airports where 90pc passengers were going to the UAE.

Mr Murtaza said that the facility was being provided at Sialkot airport, which was a relatively small airport with low flight frequency.

Why is this worrisome? This has always been the pattern.

Shouldn't it be other way round that ISB has more transit passengers and Karachi has more UAE bound? I was under impression that most of expats our of Karachi are based in UAE.
