Oman Bans Entry of Passengers from Countries Including Pakistan Due to COVID-19

Arrivals from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and travelers who have been in or transited through any of these countries in the previous 14 days to prior to their request to enter the Sultanate of Oman is suspended effective 6:00 PM (Oman local time) on April 24, 2021, until further notice.

This excludes Omani citizens, diplomats, healthcare workers and their families who will be subject to the approved procedures upon arriving in the Sultanate of Oman.

Airlines including PIA, Oman Air and Salam Air operate passenger flights from Pakistan to Oman.

Today, PIA operated Boeing 777 flights to Muscat from Islamabad and Lahore apparently to transport extra load of passengers.
