As per details, a Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) supervisor found a pouch forgotten by a passenger at customs counter at Peshawar Airport. The pouch was opened in the presence of Airports Security Force (ASF) personnel. Small boxes containing gold jewelry items including earrings, necklace and ring were found in the pouch.
The passenger was located with the help of airport's surveillance cameras and gold jewelry items were handed over to him after completion of verification process.
The passenger had arrived in Peshawar aboard PIA Airbus A320 (AP-BLB) flight PK9284 from Sharjah that landed at Peshawar Airport at 4:05 PM on July 5.
