PIA employees suspended in the month of June for a variety of reasons:

25 employees suspended for fake/bogus/tempered educational documents
21 employees suspended for remaining absent continuously
2 employees suspended for leaking official information to media
1 employee suspended for violating standard operating procedure (SOP)

2 employees demoted for violating rules.
1 employee salary increment reduced for being unavailable at designated place during duty

On the other hand, eleven PIA employees received appreciation certificates from airline's management for good performance.

In the month of July:

Twenty-eight employees with fake educational documents sacked.

Twenty-seven employees sacked for remaining absent from duty for long time without informing the airline.

Five pilots with dubious/suspicious licences sacked.

Two employees involved in pilferage sacked.

One employee dismissed for being unqualified for job.

Four employees demoted for refusing to work

Three employees' increment deducted for violating SOPs.

Thirteen employees received appreciation certificates for showing good performance.

Two employees received cash award.

All proceedings carried out according to rules & regulations.

The process of accountability continues in the airline without any external pressure, according to PIA spokesperson.

Fake educational documents.
Negligence.
Causing damage to airline's assets.

A number of employees found involved in bribery, smuggling and usage of narcotics.
