PIA crew members get warning letter over negligence
PIA
KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) Monday issued “Letter of Warning” to a number of its flight attendants over failing to distribute health cards amongst passengers on board the national flag carrier’s PK-728 flight.
All passengers entering Pakistan are required to submit a health declaration card, which will include their contact details and brief travel history, in order to block likely spread of novel coronavirus in the country.
“This is in reference with the Incident occurred on PK-728 dated, 28-02-2020, RUH-PEW, reported by Station Minister BKIAP (Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar), wherein Health Card/forms were not distributed to passengers onboard the aircraft which is not only a clear violation of repeated safety instruction,” read the warning letter, a copy of which is available with ARY News.

Aviation Secretary Hassan Nasir Jamy aid that five new scanners each worth $50,000 have been installed at the Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar airports which would automatically detect body temperature of the passengers.
After installation of the scanners, he said, there would be no need for using thermal guns manually.

I may have missed this, but what happens to those that do have raised temperature?
Also, given the situation in Italy, it seems PIA is still flying there weekly. Surely one would expect them to stop this route also.

Officials 'extorting money' from passengers at airport
KARACHI: Intelligence agencies have begun close and strict monitoring of the health officials deployed at Jinnah International Airport and passengers arriving in the city from abroad, after reports surfaced of the former allowing the latter to leave the airport premises without being screened for coronavirus.
Reportedly, health officials deployed at the airport intimidated the passengers, threatening them with keeping them in quarantine, and forcing them into paying money to be able to leave the airport. After paying the officials, the passengers were allowed to leave the airport without being screened for coronavirus, it was alleged.
Health officials are also accused of taking bribes from quarantined persons in exchange for permitting them to leave the airport.
Now, the health officials are being strictly monitored to ensure that passengers arriving from outside Pakistan are allowed to leave the airport only after they pass through a thermal scanner and are cleared of the infection. It is also being ensured that health officials carry out proper screening of all the passengers.
Those detected with the virus are to be quarantined.
The health officials are employees of the federal and provincial government, and not the Civil Aviation Authority.

Exactly what info is being captured on this health declaration form.
Our Sec of State for Health in the UK has said that they are not screening passengers for their temperature upon arrival at UK airports because there would be too many 'false' positives ie. people would show as having a temperature but not necessarily coronavirus. So is this exercise not somewhat futile.
Also if someone does have a temperature, where exactly are they being quarantined? Is there a government facility or then is the pax told to go home and self isolate for so many days?

Is there any forced quarantine for travellers from Europe? I will come Islamabad from London Heathrow on 21/3 and leave for Amsterdam on 28/3, flying with Saudia. Netherlands is not a high risk zone yet.
What I am worried is, can Pakistani authorities ask me to quarantine in Pakistan for 2 weeks? In that case I won't be able to take return flight.

Netherlands health authorities are saying the same. They are also not doing any temp checks at Schiphol as there will be many false positivesadamalikhan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 8:47 pm Exactly what info is being captured on this health declaration form.
