Good news indeed
PIA operated this route from 2008-2018 thrice weekly by getting full loads. National carrier is playing its card very well.

As per officials resumption of Sialkot - Abu Dhabi route is also under consideration. Cheers

Great News
PIA should not only increase its frequency on this sector but they should reconsider resuming flights to Kuwait from LAHORE and PeW as well

PIA Twitter account informed that they are looking for induction of additional aircraft for this route. Once they secure order of new aircrafts, they will relaunch the route.

Federal Ombudsman intervened to get Kuwait-Sialkot flights restored

September 20, 2019

ISLAMABAD, Sep 20 (APP):
After being non-operational for year and a half, Kuwait-Sialkot operation of Pakistan Airlines has been restored upon federal ombudsman’s intervention into the matter.

Several complaints were filed to the ombudsperson’s office by overseas Pakistanis seeking the restoration of the flight, according to the spokesperson of federal ombudsman.

PIA stopped operating flights on the Kuwait-Sialkot route a year and a half ago even though it was very profitable, complainants argued.

Looks like PIA Is getting two 320's by end of October.

I can see that Sialkot - Kuwait flight is added.
Also,
Multan - Riyadh ,
ISB - KUL,
UET - JED
LYB - DXB

Flights are added.
Fortune favours brave.

Kuwait Lahore sector is already served with almost daily flight by Jazeera and Kuwait airways so not much benefit but yes Kuwait Peshawar must be in their priority list which previously served as a stopover for the Lahore flight.

Anyhow a much awaited Decision.
