Sialkot Airport Runway Closure for Maintenance/Repairs

According to news sources, Sialkot International Airport will be closed for three days for runway repairs work from September 28 to 30.

A number of airlines have informed passengers about arrangements to transport them to/from Sialkot via Lahore Airport during runway closure at Sialkot Airport.

Sialkot International Airport runway will be closed three times during the month of February for essential maintenance/repairs work.

1. From 10:00 AM on February 13 to 10:00 AM on February 15.
2. From 10:00 AM on February 20 to 10:00 AM on February 22.
3. From 10:00 AM on February 27 to 10:00 AM on March 1.

Airport authorities have directed airlines to reschedule their flights accordingly.

According to news sources, Sialkot International Airport Runway 04/22 will be closed for maintenance/repairs work from 11:00 AM on June 24 to 7:00 PM on July 3.

Another repairs? This is 5th or 6th repair since September 2018 or last 9-10 months. Something is going very wrong with runaway that they need soo many repairs. There should be investigation from CAA about quality of runaway.before it leads to any serious incidents.
