Yes, backtrack is possible on RWY18R for aircraft upto B777-300ER, though this depends on pilot's competence. I have noticed on many occasions Emirates' B77W's backtracking (180 turn) on RWY18R, yet also remember the occasion a Turkish Airlines A330 was backtracking but got stuck, and needed a tug to get it to the apron.

Pilots prefer the taxi through Hajj Terminal ( taxiway Charlie, Echo) instead of backtracking with the limited space.

Today is May 4th. Any updates about Runway operations from main runway 36R.?

According to City42 news channel, Lahore Airport's primary Runway 36R/18L after completion of repairs work was reopened for flight operations today.

Saudia flight SV-731 from Lahore to Jeddah performed by airline's Boeing 777-268ER registration HZ-AKP was the first to depart from this runway. Flight SV-731 departed from Lahore at 8:49 AM from Runway 36R.

PIA flight PK-302 from Karachi to Lahore performed by airline's Airbus A320-214 registration AP-BLD was the first to land on this runway. Flight PK-302 landed at Lahore at 9:34 AM on Runway 36R.

Do we have any recent pictures of UPGRADED 36R Runway and planes landing on it?

According to City42 News channel, Lahore Airport aircraft parking bay number 7 will remain unavailable for parking aircraft till May 19.

Some wires/cables related to anti-fog airfield lighting system at the airport are being laid near parking bay number 7, according to the news channel.

Why does these areas even get the oil stains? There isn't any maintenance work goes out here.

Possible reasons:

Aircraft lubricants/oil level checks/change, minor maintenance checks of engines/APU etc. Oil/lubricants dripping from ground equipment serving the aircraft.
