It's alarming that Pakistan has learned nothing about aviation safety and has made no changes since PIA, Airblue, Bhoja, PIA, and then PIA again last year. Yet, in the past 12 months it looks like they have approved two brand new airlines to fly: Air Sial and K2. How any regulatory authority approves new entrants while the current ones continue to crash with a horrible safety record is beyond me. No time or effort is being spent to improve aviation safety. Another disaster waiting to happen. The CAA should be in no position right now to approve any new airlines until the current safety practices are improved.
