I am sorry friends, I could not define my point of view.

I used the words "an adequate roll". It means an active roll, a widest roll or a comprehensive roll.

As per my point of view, we can use this forum more & more effectively for the promotion & upgradation of Faisalabad International. This purpose could be achieved by initiating & paricipation maximum in Faisalabad related topics. Current percentage is almost one percentage.

I can guarantee of one thing, Faisalabadi's do not really want the up-graded airport to be built for them. Reason being they love traveling to Lahore for their every single thing they need. Be it shopping, car purchase, traveling to abroad or anything. Fact of the matter is, Faisalabadi's take it a sign of prestige going to Lahore to buy items they require.

No Offense though but this is the most common practice I've observed.

Adnan, you are right.

Such class really exists in Faisalabad but be sure that people of this class are limited in number, although I have no figures to prove my claim. Majority of Faisalabad people want to promote & upgrade their city as well as airport.

Actually, matter relates to facilities, if Government provide required facilities, I am sure, above mentioned class will definitely come back from Lahore. At the moment, terminal building of Faisalabad International is not more than a modern bus stand or Railway Station. So as operational activities/flight frequency is even less than low ranking cities just as Peshawar, Quetta, Multan & Sialkot.

Although up gradation of Faisalabad International is a tough job in current situation but I am quite confident that it could be done with help of civil society, local government, political leadership, business community & valued members of this forum.

Glad to see EY developing further links into Pakistan. I visited LYP not too long ago it is indeed in need of rennovation - though with the amount of flights it handles at the moment the airport is adequate!

^ I don't think busses with Etihad Airways logo seen in that link will be used for transportation of passengers from Lahore to Sialkot and Faisalabad.

Most likely minibuses or minivans like Toyota Coaster or Toyota HiAce with Gerry's International logo will be used to transport to Etihad Airways passengers between Lahore Airport and Sialkot/Faisalabad.

I agree, I also expect that there will be only the Logo of Gerry's International or no Logo.
The Picture in the Link refers to the Etihad Coach Service in the UAE from/To AUH
The Coaches there are with the Etihad Logo and they are operated by Etihad.

I was inquiring about this service from Gerrys and they simply replied "This service has been halt." Also not planning to resume it in the near future.
