According to news sources, PIA is going to increase Umrah fares by five thousand rupees from the month of March.
Despite fall in world oil prices in recent times, the airline has increased Umrah fares to overcome losses, news sources claim.
Additional earning of four to five billion rupees is expected by PIA through this increase in Umrah fares.

Are they also changing the plane from 747 to a 777 ?
If not, not worth it to fly on a broken, unmaintained 747 which is in very shabby condition.
Better pay more and fly on better/newer equipment....
