According to news channels, various PIA flights are getting delayed due to unavailability of pilots.

Cabin crew is cooperating with the airline, according to PIA spokesperson but the non-cooperation of cockpit crew is disappointing, the spokesperson said.

The airline has agreed to pay fifty percent of due allowance amount in three installments but pilots are demanding full payment of due amount, according to news sources. The airline says that due to its weak financial position it cannot pay full amount at once.

PALPA president says the airline has not paid pilots allowance since past six months.

According to latest reports:

* Successful talks held between PIA and PALPA.
* The airline and its pilots' association have reached an agreement on the issue of pilots' allowance.
* The airline has agreed to pay fifty percent of allowance amount due to be paid to its pilots.

With this end to deadlock between PIA and PALPA, the pilots' association has announced to end their 'go-slow' policy that affected at least ten flights of the airline including cancellation of two international flights.

PK 783/784 from Toronto is operating about 18 hours behind schedule. Is this also because of the pilots action?

^ Yes, PK-783 was one of flights affected on Sunday due to 'go-slow' policy adopted by pilots.
