PIA Training Centre (PTC) to be Opened in More Cities

PIA Training Centre (PTC) will soon be opened in cities of Peshawar, Quetta, Nawabshah, Swat, Muzaffarabad, Sukkur, Multan, Faisalabad and Hyderabad, according to a press release issued by the airline today.

PIA Training Centre
with more than 50 years experience of aviation training at Karachi & successful launching at Lahore & Rawalpindi opening its venues at Peshawar, Quetta, Nawabshah & Swat.

Become a licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) through two years training program in aerospace B1 & avionics B2 at PIA Training Centre followed by two years On-the Job Training (OJT)

Pre-requisite: FSc. pre-engineering or equivalent.

Admissions are open at all centres.

with no money to even lease planes on timely basis, why are resources being wasted on this ?

PIA advertisement in today's (February 6) newspaper.

Another step taken by Pakistan International Airlines in line with the vision of Prime Minister of Pakistan to impart technical education to the youth of Pakistan.

PIA Training Centre with more than 50 years of experience of aviation training at Karachi also operational at Lahore, Rawalpindi and Nawabshah.

Swat PIA Training Centre launched on 4th February, 2015. Admissions are open.

More training centres to open soon at Peshawar, Quetta and other cities.

An excellent opportunity to obtain Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Licence in just 4 years through two (02) years training program in Aerospace B1 and Avionics B2 at PIA Training Centre* followed by two (02) years On-the-Job Training (OJT). Pre-requisite FSc. Pre-Engineering or equivalent.

Is PTC in Nawabshah formally inaugurated? and where is it located? Is it at PIA flight academy facility in Nawabshah?

What will PIA do when the trainees will be trained, it seems like PIA wants some more Employees with 19,000+ already in the state carrier with less than 30 planes which is causing loss to the airlines on daily basis.
Jumbo is just not a plane, it's a legacy !

^ I think job in PIA is not automatically guaranteed for students of these PTC courses. They themselves will have to find job in aviation industry after completing course from PTC.

PTC in Peshawar inaugurated today, according to PTV News.

A total of six PTC facilities are now working in cities of Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Nawabshah, Swat and Peshawar.
