PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
The name "42" comes from the aircraft's standard seating, which varies from 40 to 52. ATR 72 a stretched variant of the ATR 42, the aircraft seats up to 74 passengers.

Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
I was checking PIA flight schedule for ISB to LHE. Its showing an aircraft named AT7 on 31st of March. Probably its Atr-72..?
Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
Still no sign of other 4 ATR'S
Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
Relax. Aircraft acquisitions are never clear till the end time at PIA. Today you dont know whats going on, and the next day you see aircraft painted in PIA livery. So have some patience and pray for the best
Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
Btw can anyone tell what are those circular marks on the ground in the last Atr pic?
Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
But the delivery schedule says immediately but not later than march 31 2015?
Re: PIA to Dry Lease Narrow-body and Turboprop Aircraft
The three A320s in PIA fleet were also not all delivered within the given date in tender . Specially AP-BLD was delivered in october, while the date given in the tender was not later than August or July. Probably the date 31st March is just for the first delivery, which initiates the delivery procedure. May be.
