Old wine in a new bottle. Is this the result of all the ads inviting applications for senior management positions in PIA.

Re: New MD PIA Appointed
If i remember correctly he was retired from Regular PIA service in 2006/7 and Join back again on two year contract which keep on extending in different shapes and roles. Very least as of now he is around 65+ years old, but as far as average people in his age group he is very fit physically, and have pretty clean flying record.

This gentleman has a lot of right experience. We have a good maintenance an operations set up and the losses incurred were mismanagement with the tools available. Of course the aircraft/employee ratio needs a lot of attention, as does continued government meddling and the open skies blank cheque to all. The employees should consider that he is one of them, earning his place and trust at the pinnacle of the service and with the credentials the corporation needs to succeed. I wish him good luck.
