Uniform Composition
Female Cabin Crew:
* Shirt
* Trousers
* Dupatta with Cap
* Overcoat
* Half Wing Pin
* Hand Bag
* Shoes
* Apron
* Epaulettes
Male Cabin Crew:
* Shirt
* Jacket
* Trousers
* Tie
* Cap
* Half Wing & Leather Belt
* Shoes
* Epaulettes
Note:
i. Participating designer shall have to submit their complete portfolio with the proposal.
ii. A participating designer can propose more than one design.
iii. Designing charges for each design must be quoted separately.
iv. Designing charges for shoes and bag must be quoted separately.
v. Proposed designs can be submitted in the form of colored sketches (3 sets each). However, if possible, same could be submitted in stitched form.
vi. All the submitted designs will be evaluated and short listed by a committee for further process.
vii. The designers of the short listed designs will be required to submit the designs in complete stitched form, 5 uniforms of each design in different sizes and free of cost along with all the accessories within 15 days of intimation of short listing. The submitted uniforms will be non-returnable.
viii. All the cost related to preparation of sketches / stitched uniforms shall be borne by the designer. PIA will not be liable to reimburse any amount in this regard.
ix. The designs finally selected, will be procured as per the quoted charges.
x. The designer shall transfer the ownership rights to PIA and will not claim any royalty whatsoever in future.
xi. PIA will be on liberty to stitch the uniforms from its own choice of quantity and source.
xii. The offer must be valid for 90 days (i.e. till June 20, 2013).
xiii. The decision by PIA for the selection of uniforms shall be final and unchallengeable.
