so A310's are also slowly being retired, but no new long-hauls induction.
How long can they continue to run the operations without new widebodies....?

It's AP-BEB as indicated by number of unblocked cabin windows between PIA logo and overwing exit.

Got it. So surely, AP-BGQ was parked in front of Ispahani hanger, along with AP-BGG, AP-BFV, and AP-BFU.

If BGQ is still grounded then why is it showing on the flight tracker as BGQ??

Could it be possible the BGN is back in service with parts of BGQ that are identifying it as BGQ??

First, AP-BGN also down, out of engine(s). Second, there may an identification problem with FlightRadar24.

How expensive are these engines that PIA has grounded around six aircraft because there are no engines??

Can PIA not lease engines, after all there must be a ton of 20 year old GE80C2s and PW4156 floating around.

first they better make payments to the PSO for fuel, as fuel cutoff is threatened almost every week....

mismanagement is rampant in PIA, nobody really cares. Not even the unions.

There is not just a single reason "engines" to ground the A310s. There are many other factors like airworthiness of the aircraft, increasing maintenance and operational cost, increasing inspections, mods, SBs and finally the poor planning and procurement of spares causing the ultimate circumstances to ground the aircraft.

PIA wet leasing six 737/A320s at a cost of $9 million a month

In six months that is $54 milliion.

What amount of money was needed to revamp at least 3 or 4 A310s back to life, and they would have served at least another 2 years.

Throwing away 54 million dollars in six month while your own 190 seat aircraft remain grounded.

Kuwait Airways selling three 1993 built operational A310-308s, I wonder at what price???

well not so long ago evenAP-BHW was in similar state, it was being cannibalized to keep the rest of the B777 flying.
The news media and PM had to do something to bring it back into service.

If PIA management can do that to a good B777, well, u can guess the rest...
